No Man’s Land Studio: 2024 Year in Review
As 2024 draws to a close, it’s time to look back at what has been an exciting, eventful year for No Man’s Land Studio. CJ and I have worked on some fantastic projects, met incredible people, and even had the chance to travel and experience a few adventures of our own. Here's a glimpse at what we've been up to!
Meeting Clients at the Imperial War Museum
Back in May, CJ and I had the pleasure of meeting one of our valued customers at the Imperial War Museum in London. There's nothing quite like connecting with clients face-to-face, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect—a place steeped in the history we’re so passionate about - Oh and the trip to the pub afterward!!
A Stall at We Have Ways Fest 2024
July was a big month for us as we ran a stall at We Have Ways Fest. It was a whirlwind weekend of second world war history, camaraderie, reenactment, talks and, of course, miniatures! It was amazing to meet so many of our existing followers and friends and to make new acquaintances. Sharing our passion with like-minded enthusiasts was a highlight of the year, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
TankFest and Beyond
Summer wouldn’t be complete without a trip to TankFest, where I had the chance to marvel at some incredible armoured beasts. The sound, the history, and the atmosphere—there’s nothing else quite like it. Later in the year, my travels took me to Albania’s vibrant capital, Tirana, and closer to home, Warwick Castle, where history seemed to come alive around every corner.
2024 has been an incredible year for commissions, spanning a vast array of periods and themes. From the battlefields of the English Civil War to the ancient splendour of Rome, the jungles of Vietnam, to the sweeping campaigns of WWII, and even into the realm of modern warfare and fantastical worlds. Each project has been a unique and rewarding journey. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our clients for allowing us the privilege of bringing your collections to life—it’s truly been an honour.
A Growing Team
We’re thrilled to announce that No Man’s Land Studio is growing! In the new year, we’ll be welcoming Dean to the team. He’ll be lending his talents to the blog, painting and helping us out at events. We can’t wait for you all to meet him—watch this space!
As we wrap up 2024, we here at No Mans Land want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you—our clients, supporters, and friends. Your passion and enthusiasm inspire us every day. Here’s to another fantastic year ahead. Stay tuned for more exciting projects, events, and adventures in 2025!
